GRANITE HIGHLIGHT: First week of September and its starting to feel like fall. So lets look at so fall colors. This granite is known by two main names. Cats eye and Red deer brown. both give you the same granite piece. This granite showcases a distinct design detail with these small black ovals through out the stone giving the cats eye look through out.

The stone it self is made from jet black granite which allows the nice light grey contrast you see in the duck, angel, and the heart around the names.

Production of this memorial was extra special as we needed to work very closely with customer to insure that the right parts of the emblem where painted gold and others where left polished. Many print outs and sketches later the memorial was taken to the cemetery.

Steeled barre VT grey granite is a great choice if you want clean looking memorial as well as a time tested design. Barre VT grey granite comes from Barre, VT USA hence the name. Steeling means to take all the polish off the stone. When this is done the stone can almost appear white. This style memorial has been used for generation.

CONCEPT TO COMPLETION. Lets look back on a memorial that we placed at the start of the summer. The challenge with this memorial was that they wanted to match a design that we did on another one of the family stones. Problem the other stone was a different size. But with both being done in the computer we where able to match it up perfectly. even with he new stone being bigger.

Death dates are added to the stone right at the cemetery. We don't need to remove the stone at all for this process. the time frame of this process from placing a lettering order to completion of the work is expected to be around 2 months. This due to the work being done right at the gravesite therefor being heavily weather dependent.
